Every published fact traces to a public source: the truck's own site or social accounts, an organizer calendar, or the owner directly. Each listing shows its confidence tier and last-verified date, as described in the methodology.
Editorial policy
The rules this guide will not break.
A local guide is only useful if its data can be trusted. These rules apply to every listing, appearance, and article on the site.
Never published
- Fake or purchased reviews and ratings.
- Invented addresses or schedules.
- Descriptions scraped from Yelp, Google, or other guides.
- AI-generated photos presented as real trucks.
- Unverified appearances stated as confirmed fact.
Corrections
Anyone can request a correction through the submission form or corrections@lafoodtruckguide.com. Accepted corrections target publication within 48 hours of review, and material changes are noted on the listing.
Independence
No listing can be bought. Sponsorship, advertising, or being a customer of any company - including Valetfy, whose founder also edits this guide - never affects whether a truck is listed, how it is described, or where it ranks.
